Abstract :
The time domain reflectometer (TDR) has been used for the experimental study of permittivity and dielectric loss for tetrahydrofuran and 2,5-dimethylfuran. The observed data in time domain has been transformed to frequency domain using Fourier transform method. We have also evaluated the relaxation time using distribution of relaxation time mechanism at different temperatures. The entropy, enthalpy and free energy of activation are determined for the purpose to understand the molecular collisions. This study is fruitful for the workers in the field of material science.
