Abstract :
Epilepsy is a kind of brain disease caused by the disorder of large number of brain neuron discharge. In this paper, we use optogenetic animal model of epilepsy to research the changes of brain signals during light stimulation. The results of our experiment show that the light stimulation reduces the number of spike during the seizure effectively, and exerts inhibitory effect on the intensity of seizure. The results demonstrate that optogenetics may provide us a useful tool to control the seizure and possibly other excitability disorders.
