Abstract
Bragg curves for 16O and 20Ne of around 100 MeV/n were obtained from observation of the time variations in the anode signal of an allene doped liquid argon gridded ionization chamber. The results showed good agreement with those obtained from simulation. This method was applied to the analysis of deformation in the Bragg curve due to nuclear reactions in liquid argon. As a result of using this method, we were able to identify the nuclear reaction in liquid argon. It is expected that this method can be successfully applied to study nuclear reactions that occur during the time before an incident particle is stopped.
