Abstract :
The features of circuit design method for bandwidth extension of resistive voltage divider of variable attenuators (AT) with parasitic capacitance in the load circuit, are considered. It is shown, that when changing the transmission coefficient of AT over a wide range the conditions of a significant increase of the proposed AT bandwidth are not changed. This feature of the considered circuit is its main advantage in comparison with traditional methods of designing this class of functional units of microwave communication, broadcasting and navigation systems.
