Abstract :
In distributed computing environments, there is a lack of methodologies for modeling communication mechanisms of distributed objects and facilitating later implementation of the model. In this paper, a solution is presented to describe and model the communication of distributed objects in an object-oriented enterprise model even with real-time requirements. The steps include the analysis of entities, communication requirements, and communication mechanisms involving UML (Unified Modeling Language) diagrams, while having the capability of finishing data flow, control flow, object operations and method definitions at the same time. The solution is based on and demonstrated by the distributed extended version of UML, in which time control and a complex message mechanism are introduced
