Abstract
Air gap is one of the key factors which can affect the performances of magnetism in Hall-Effect- based current sensor. In this paper, a precise model for iron core geometry of a current sensor was built and experimental tests were also conducted. The comparison between experimental and simulation results shows that simulation results agree well with the experimental ones when the current is less than 70A.
