Abstract :
This paper presents an algorithm TAU used for point emitter calculations in which equations for current density in different modes are used. For Schottky emission, extended Schottky emission and thermal field emission modes are used. The emission mode is defined with the parameter q, which depends on work function and temperature of the emitter and electric field on the emitter surface
