Abstract :
Autonomic systems interaction is a challenging area of research. In this paper, we provide autonomic systems with a new interaction capability thanks to the negotiation of a service level in a self-management framework describing vertical and horizontal interactions. We use interoperable Web Services technologies to specify a service level negotiation protocol called SLNP and we present implementation results to evaluate the SLNP negotiation time according to different scenarios.
