The two-dimensional electric potential and electric field distribution for typical model field emitter structures in the closed analytical form are obtained. The electric field in a cathode cell with a wedge field emitter is determined. Models for a single emitter diode structure, for a periodic diode structure and for a triode-like structure are considered
