Abstract :
In view of the serious problem of tool wear during micro-cutting process with high speed, implanting groove micro texture into the tool surface to enhance cutting properties consisting of reducing friction, exhausting heat, anti-sticking and anti-wearing based on non-smooth surface technology. Utilizing laser processing technology to machine micro groove texture in the tool surface. Performing micro-machined Al6061 alloy experiment with the high speed micro-turning experimental device which designed by own, and to evaluate cutting properties from three aspects are the chip form, the tool wear condition and the roughness of machined surface in respectively. The experimental results show that the groove micro texture have a good influence on improving wear resistance of the tool, the quality of machined surface and the chip form as well.
