Abstract :
Having analyzed the fundamental requirements of autonomous land vehicle (ALV) architecture designing, we find that the contradiction between the requirements of real-time and reliability is crucial. From our research, it can be shown that there are problems in solving this contradiction in the existing architectures. In order to solve such problems, we put forward a new design of ALV architecture, called the communication pipeline hierarchy system, and present some improvements.<>
