Abstract
Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.
The presenting author of this paper has the option to appeal this decision by contacting TPII@ieee.org.
Presently is used for controlling pacemakers measuring by one vibration sensor or a movement sensor, which is placed on a pacemaker´s case or on a tip of stimulating electrode. As movement sensor is used a piezoelectric crystal or an accelerometer. Suggested solution uses two accelerometers placed on patient´s body so it is possible to extend a set of detected movements and also we can detect patient´s position (sitting, lying, standing position etc.). On the basis of suitable processing of measured data is pointed out patient´s physical activity, which is one of the main input parameters in algorithm for controlling pacemakers. Usage physical activity would significantly reduce an amount of parameters, which are entered by setting pacemakers.
