Abstract :
In this paper, grey system theory model of GM (1, 1) is applied on the deformation prediction of subgrade. Application condition, modeling method and method of precision treat with for the theory are explained combining a engineering sample. Limitations of deformation prediction for subgrade using the grey system theory are educed from the comparison the result of prediction and measured in the field. So it must be cautious to use the model of GM (1,1) in the medium and long term deformation prediction of subgrade.
