Abstract :
Effective electrical stimulation is important to a visual prosthesis. We focus on the neural response in vivo electrical stimulation experiment, changing the stimulation parameters and anode-cathode distance. The experimental results obtained suggest that the pulse amplitude can be the main factor for efficient stimulation rather than the pulse duration. Besides, a biphasic pulse is the most effective among other pulse patterns such as a single and double pulse respectively
