Abstract :
We developed new nanodiamond paste. The large area (25 cm2 ) nanocrystalline diamond film (NCDF) was prepared on graphite substrates by screen-printing method. We used special three step sintering processing (TSSP) thermal treatment technique and the two steps post-treatment process to improved surface morphology of NCDF. We measured the field emission characteristics of NCDF as cathode. The result shown that lower cost large area NCDF can be used as electron source in military technique and other outdoor inclemency condition
