Abstract
The effects of field emission cycles applied on the screen printed carbon nanotube (CNT) cold cathode were studied. CNT emitters were vertically well aligned and the emission images were visibly improved after the field treatment. The mechanism of the treatment was investigated using scanning electron microscopy. The mechanism may involve the erasion of hot spot and alignment of CNT
