            Abstract : 
In this paper, in order to show the influence of the local cooling rate on the magnetic properties, the temperature dependence of the AC-susceptibility and hysteresis loops were measured on the annealed sample of Nd/sub 60/Fe/sub 30/Al/sub 10/ with different thickness (removing the surface). Additionally, /sup 57/Fe Mossbauer spectra were recorded.
