Abstract :
This paper focuses on the problem of robust H/sub /spl infin//-constrained H/sub 2/ state feedback control for uncertain discrete-time linear systems. The uncertainty considered is time-invariant norm-bounded and exists in both the state and input matrices. The results lead to a static state feedback controller which not only stabilizes the system but also minimizes a guaranteed cost bound on a quadratic cost function (an H/sub 2/ performance) subject to a prespecified H/sub /spl infin// constraint on the level of disturbance attenuation. It is shown that the problem addressed can be converted to the usual mixed H/sub 2//H/sub /spl infin// regulation problem for which there is no parameter uncertainty. This observation leads to a complete solution in terms of the existing results.<>
