            Abstract : 
This paper introduces a new method to improve the characteristic of an active magnetic bearing (AMB) control system by flux time derivative. The theoretical analysis and computer simulation results show that this method can improve the phase margin effectively, and simplify the design and realization of the compensation device.<>
