Abstract :
Two kinds of novel on-line monitoring methods, based on measuring primary, secondary currents and voltages to calculate the short-circuit reactance of windings for detecting the windings deformation of power transformer (PT), are proposed in the paper. The methods used for on-line measuring the short-circuit reactance of traction transformer in electric railways, are designed. The impacts on the short-circuit reactance of current transformer (CT) and PT errors, hysterics and load variation are discussed also. By using error analysis and simulation analysis, this paper discusses the feasibility in engineering.
