  • Abstract
    Based on the hydraulics model test we studied the measuring-types of main canal-branch cannel intake and the law of flow change. After the comparing and choosing through the hydraulics model test, we put forward a suggested scheme which is in the form of measuring segment (that is the water metering building) corresponding to the channel small fall´s condition, and established the calculating formula of water level-flow and its correlation parameters´ determination method when it was in combinations of a variety of water level operation, then gave the correction factors after the observation and authentication to the prototype. The result shows that this method could meet the requirements on the computational precision of open channel flow.
