Abstract :
This paper presents an improved synchronous machine saturation model in the EMTP. It is based on the machine-reduction method interface. Simulation results are used to demonstrate the improvements in simulation accuracy of the saturated synchronous machine and the reduction in the number of iterations between the mechanical and electrical parts.<>
