Abstract
Increasing the practical skills of students is one of the goals of engineering education. This goal is so important that some industries build up special training institutions and supervise course topics and programs of these institutions to conform with their industry needs. After evaluating the requirements of the industry and by seeking the gaps between current and ideal condition of software engineering and IT (information technology) education, and also by considering educational standards, the new mobile solutions laboratory has been proposed, as a solution to fill the gap. It also covers the ideal educational protocols for mobile commerce. This paper presents several topics including a project-based learning method, an evaluation method to study student´s motivation for the course topics, and student assessment methods and criteria.
