  • Abstract
    Nowadays the personal identification is very important for the security system. Face recognition plays one of the most important fields in automated biometric identification system. An automatic personal identification system of ID is developed. This system is based on the eigen vector of face template features. This research is focused on the identification of Myanmar National Registration Card (NRC) holder. This system can extract the personal information and determine authorized person or unauthorized person. Since many NRC cards are issued more than 10 years ago, there have low quality face images in these cards. For examining the correspondence rates between current face and face on card, the age invariant face recognition system is developed. Therefore there is no such face recognition system from low quality image of Myanmar NRC card. Only 2% and 10% errors are occurred for one-to-one matching and one-to-many matching of individuals, respectively.
