  • Abstract
    This paper proposes an adaptive current differential principle with high performance and high reliability, which combines instantaneous value with fault component instantaneous value. In the principle, the parameters change adaptively with the dynamic variations of power system. To implement the protection scheme, an all-purpose protection hardware system platform with opening ability is proposed. The adaptive Ethernet network and telecommunication module with high-performance of data transmission is employed to achieve better characters. This protection device is extensively tested.
