Abstract :
In this paper, an advanced technique for HF modeling of long industrial multi-conductor power cables is proposed as needed for simulating EMC conducted emission (up to 30 MHz). The new modeling procedure allows significant reduction of the model complexity by exploiting various degrees of symmetries, which considerably improves stability and speed of system level circuit simulations. The model has been validated by showing very good agreement between simulation and measurement data in time and frequency domain.
