Abstract :
In this paper, oversampled timing recovery for magnetic recording channels. Performance comparison using PLL gain parameters were designed. We consider normalized recording density for both longitudinal and perpendicular recording channels with media jitter noise, clock jitter noise, and frequency offset were modelled.
