Abstract
The study of load flow solutions is one of the most important topics for power system research. For a distribution system, radial-type networks have been proven to have unique load flow solutions. In this paper, the Jacobian matrix determinant for a 2-bus system is developed to analyze the properties of its voltage solution. The 2-bus based analysis is then extended to distribution systems of fundamental radial and loop types. A method of checking the feasibility of the voltage solution is proposed. Numerical tests are also included.<>
