Abstract
Rules of variation of contact stress in gear engagement are obtained by means of dynamic simulation in ANSYS after the 3-D parameterize finite element model is created. Against the effect of original manufacturing errors, rotational speed and load to gear drive, expended Monte-Carlo stochastic finite element method by Neumann (NSFEM) is adapted in multiple stochastic virtual test of the meshing gear to compute the reliability, and reliability sensitivity of each parameter is gave in quantitative probability, which provides theoretical bases for fatigue strength calculation and dynamic optimum design of the drive gear mechanism.
