Abstract :
A wavelength combiner based on a silicon-on-insulator (SOI) multimode interferometer (MMI) coupler and a Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) was designed, fabricated and tested. It has 0.1 dB spectral full-width of 18 nm around 1440 nm and 22 nm around 1560 nm.
