With the advent of the industrial revolution, and mass production, bringing a wider choice of products to a wider market, the specification sheet evolved according to the manufacturers wish to influence the buyer in a specific direction that this product would meet their requirements. This paper highlights some aspects of the specification data sheet and suggests that customers should ask more questions from their suppliers.
