Abstract :
The high power LED lighting utilizes half-bridge resonant (HBR) drivers, whose high switching rate, however, results in severe electromagnetic interference (EMI) problem. The pseudo-randomness and continuous spectrum features of chaos is applied to design chaos-based pulse width modulation (CPWM) for suppressing harmonics in the HBR LED drivers. Simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed CPWM in suppressing EMI.
