  • Abstract
    In mobile network, a deviation of cell coverage area will influence many performance indexes, cell coverage analysis is vital to network optimization. The traditional check method is road testing by manpower which costs much time and resource. This paper presents a new method to analyze the cell coverage area based on phone measured data collected in OMC system. The cell coverage analysis algorithm considers multiple factors such as signal level distribution, sampling point´s distribution and category of interferences to analyze the cell coverage deviations. The calculation and analysis results are presented in map based on GIS platform. Contract with the traditional way, this method is more economic, support real-time and the way showing results is more intuitive.
