Abstract :
Oftentimes, one of the first aspects of electronic security systems fielding projects to be sacrificed in the name of “cost control” or “schedule constraints” is the final test and checkout of the installed system. This paper presents sound rationale for conducting thorough acceptance testing and points out that the performance of these systems cannot truly be verified without a 100% end-to-end test
