  • Abstract
    Network coding (NC) has a broad application prospects in wireless Ad hoc networks. Firstly, this paper introduces the development process about network coding in wireless network environment as well as the advantages and disadvantages. Secondly, reviewing the AODV routing protocol, using network coding ideas to improve the throughput of AODV routing protocol, and proposes a new routing protocol NCAODV, also describes the packet processing of NCAODV routing protocol. Lastly, use the internationally well-known simulation tool NS2 to simulate the NCAODV routing protocol, the simulation results have shown that NCAODV routing protocol which based on AODV routing protocol improved the throughput.
