  • Abstract
Existing solutions for TMC [Traffic Message Channel] antennas in navigation devices are based on long wire antennas that are externally attached and cause many handling problems considering antenna positioning. This paper shows new solutions with compact external TMC antennas as well as internal antennas integrated in the navigation device. The possibility is introduced how to bring the antenna into the navigation device without increasing its volume or having influence on the existing design.
