Abstract
For the operation of electrical equipment the use of power electronic circuits is necessary. These circuits cause conducted interference emission, whereby the electromagnetic compatibility of electronic components is impaired. To prevent these problems the attenuation of various filter concepts based on simulation models and measurement techniques were investigated. This interference can be reduced by using filters. In this article, especially the main part of the conducted interference, which is caused by the common-mode currents, is examined. The individual components of the filter can be picked frequency-selective. By the combination of the individual simulation models, a resulting complete model of the filter circuit can be determined.
