Abstract
This paper presents an innovative dispatching, monitoring, and control method used for frequency regulation to mitigate the impact of integration of large-scale wind farms. A power flow tracing method is used to dispatch controllable load aggregators and traditional generation units to balance the wind power fluctuation. This active power dispatching schedule could monitor and control power system in the power injecting nodes that only involves wind farms and related controllable load aggregators. Furthermore, an approximate expression of the relationship between system load margin and the injection of reduced space was given, which serves as the basis for proposed system monitoring and control strategy. Finally a numerical example verified the method in this paper.
