            Abstract : 
This paper is focused on a low cost GPIB instrumentation system using VLSI specialized integrated circuits for implementing the GPIB interfaces. A GPIB controller module and several middle capabilities programmable instruments have been designed to provide a complete and versatile GPIB system suitable for some common applications
