Abstract :
Coastal ocean currents can be obtained almost continuously by the two HF ocean radars developed by the Okinawa Radio Observatory of the Communications Research Laboratory. A radar observation was made at the Tanegashima Strait during March 1992 to assess the performance of dual-radar observations. The tidal currents and the currents affected by the Kuroshio were obtained clearly from the radar observations
