Abstract
One of the difficulties of PET is an attenuation of emission projection data. A new approach to the problem is suggested. The idea is that the measurements have to be interrelated as soon as they refer to one object. Whole projection data are considered as an invariant function of the operator PR-1, R-1 is an algorithm solving the emission tomography problem, P is a projecting operator. An iterative algorithm restoring the emission projection data was developed. Numerical simulations were carried out
