Abstract :
In real-life event-based systems, constraints such as workflows often hold among the event data. E-Tec implements a novel framework for supporting constraint-aware event stream processing, in order to effectively decrease the resource consumption and expedite the system response for the real-time business monitoring. This paper highlights the main system functionalities through interesting use cases from the supply chain management and the network anomalies detection domain. System architecture and major design supports were also reviewed.
