  • Abstract
A new, more comprehensive approach for supporting consensus reaching under fuzziness is proposed. Its particular elements refer to concepts from group decision making, namely individual preferences, degrees of agreement in the group, means to moderate discussion in the group and determining a group choice. All proposed solutions are based on the concept of fuzzy majority. It is argued that this implies a human consistent framework for consensus reaching support. This framework makes it possible to model individual preferences, calculate degrees of consensus, perform analyses of the group´s structure and aggregate preferences consistently with the human perception
