  • Abstract
Summary form only given. Space exploration requires (first) survival machines in a dark, cold and full with (bad) surprises environment. If some thing goes wrong they can not expect any help, they are alone, they have to adapt and if possible ask for advice, no more! The advisers (engineers) are far away and have no global picture of the real situation, they get only fragments of informations and some times to late. (second) These machines have to be very small and use low power. They have to be limited to the minimum. According to the hardware development in the last 20 years, they shall be getting smaller, but they don´t! We present solutions for these requirements which are inspired by nature.
