Abstract :
Based on this paper a concept model is developed, which is characterized by a combination of two different electrical energy storages. By the combination of the two energy storage systems, the advantages of each one are combined. So it is possible to increase the operating life and the capacity of the overall system. The model concept provides a programmable controller using VHDL-AMS. The controller handles the control of power electronic actuators. So an optimal load current can be assigned to any energy-storage system.
