Abstract :
In this presentation, the advantages of planar waveguide structure are briefly described compared with bulk and channel waveguide structures. The configurations and the performances of lasers and amplifiers which are developing will be also described in detail. The lasers and amplifiers are as follows. (a) Intra-cavity SHG green laser that consists of Nd:YVO4 and MgO:PPLN, (b) intra-cavity THG blue laser that consists of Nd:YVO4 and MgO:PPLN, (c) extra-cavity SHG green laser that consists of InGaAs LD MOPA and MgO:PPLN (d) 1 μm Nd:YVO4 amplifier and (e) 1.5 μm Er,Yb:phosphate amplifier.
