  • Abstract
    Daily Calorie Manager is an application that is built specially for Android users in order to manage their daily calorie intake towards a healthier lifestyle. The main purpose in building this application was to help Malaysian Android users in managing their daily calorie intake. This is to ensure a healthier lifestyle and to reduce health problems especially diabetes problem. In order to build this application, Rational Unified Process Model (RUP) that contains 4 phases; inception phase, elaboration phase, construction phase and transition phase was used as the methodology. This application can give an overview on food calories contained in most of Malaysian foods so that they can eat wisely. In addition, they can check their calorie activities in order to burn out their excess calories taken towards living a better and healthier lifestyle. Finally, the development of this application is hoped to help Malaysians in order to manage their daily calorie taken for a healthy lifestyle and will directly reduce the rate of getting dangerous diseases that are caused by food factor and unhealthy lifestyle.
