Abstract
In this paper, to represent PD properties changing with aging, new parameters such as 30dB attenuation frequency in the spectrum and Ku-Sk plot are introduced. It has been known that a PD pulse shape gives us significant information about the aging and the transition of PD mechanism. Therefore, the frequency spectrum and the statistical parameters (kurtosis and skewness) that describe characteristics of a pulse shape are useful to investigate aging stages
