Abstract :
This paper introduces a new pattern of electronic check (E-check) by means of Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) on the basis of public key crypto-system, authentication and digital signature technology. It performs the functions of the conventional check taking account of the high security and efficiency of the E-check at the same time. The analysis shows in the first place that it can resist many kinds of attacks with decreased computation and increased transaction efficiency online. Moreover, it also provides a new way for security payment in electronic commerce.
