Abstract
We report a FIR InP QCL with a short active region and single quantum well injector which is based on a bound-to-continuum design. The active region and the injector are simulated with a self-consistent Schrodinger-Poisson equations solver using separate localised basis for the three wells of the active region and the single injector well.
